The Protection of Women against Violence Bill-2015 will be tabled today in Punjab Assembly

Lahore:  “The Punjab Protection of Women against Violence Bill-2015” will be presented in the assembly session on February 24.

Provincial Minister for Women Development, Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din has said that the draft of the aforesaid bill has already been approved by the standing committee of the Punjab Assembly. She said that Punjab parliamentary caucus had thrice adopted a resolution that the bill to curb violence against women should be presented in the current session of the provincial assembly.
