Lahore: Pakistan to host South Asian Bodybuilding Championship in April this year, this was disclosed by Punjab Minister for Sports and Education Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan in a high-profile meeting at National Hockey Stadium on Monday.
Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar, President Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation (PBF) Sheikh Farooq, Asia Imran Qureshi and Secretary Sports Punjab Humayun Mazhar Sheikh were also present in the meeting.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Education Rana Mashhood informed the meeting that the South Asian Bodybuilding Championship will be organized on first week of April at Aiwan-e-Iqbal.
He further said that three countries – Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan have confirmed their participation in the championship. “The negotiations are also underway with India and Maldives to take part in the mega event,” he explained.
