Amjad Islam Amjad’s father passed away

Lahore: Amjad Islam Amjad’s father Haji Muhammad Islam has passed away at the age of 95 years.Inna Lilahe wa Inna Elehe Rajeune.His funeral prayer was offered at Jamia Naeemia,Gari Shahu and later he was laid to rest in a local graveyard. A large of  people from all walks of life attended the funeral prayer.

Meanwhile;Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of father of prominent poet and intellectual Amjad Islam Amjad.

In a condolence message, the Chef Minister expressed sympathies and condolences with the bereaved family and prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant strength and courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
