DIG Motorways Faran Mirza hosts ‘Bara Khana’

Lahore: On the directives of IG Muhammed Saleem Bhatti  ‘Bara Khana’ (Grand Dinner) was hosted on the occasion of EID at National Highways & Motorway Police Lines Headquarters, Lahore to honour the achievements and sacrifices made by Motorway Police officials in the line of duty.  The audience comprising junior rank officials of police, high rank officers were also present on the occasion.

Before going for the grand dinner, the DIG Mirza Faran Baig while speaking at the occasion said police had rendered sacrifices in the line of duty and will continue to serve for peoples’ safety. Motorway Police is no less than any other police force of the country. Its officers and Jawans particularly have shown their gallant and bravery on several occasions and did not avoid sacrificing their lives for security to life and property of masses. He also distributed cash awards among the best police officers and officials.

SSP Masroor Alam Kalachi was also speaking on the occasion and said every possible measure is being taken to provide all kind of assistance and other facilities to the relatives of martyrs and Motorway Police will never forget their sacrifices.
