Police to remain alert during torrential rains: DIG Dr Hiader Ashraf

Lahore: DIG ops Dr Haider Ashraf has directed all the divisional SPs to remain alert during the torrential rains. He appreciated the police for their relief activities during the tow days rains and  said it is much appreciable how the police is working with the rescues team and helped the rain affected people .He said all the divisional SPs themselves to visit the downpour area and remain in contact with district administration to cope with any emergent situation.

DIG commended Misri Shah police for taking out the bodies of six people of a same family from debris ,Kot Lakhpat police for helping the rescue teams to bring out the bodies of four girls from Doongi ground, North Cantt,Harbance Pura and Ghalib Market police for helping the people.

He appreciated SP City Asad Sarfraz for leading the rescue work in rain hit areas.
