Motorcyclists would not be allowed on National Highways :DIG Mirza Shakil Ahmad

DIG Mirza Shakil AhmadLahore: Motorcyclists would not be allowed on National Highways  without safety helmet and strict enforcement will be ensured at every cost said Mirza Shakil Ahmad DIG Motorway , Central Zone while chairing  operational meeting  of Sector Commanders and CPOs at zonal office , Lahore. SSP Mirza Faran Baig was also present on the occasion.
DIG instructed SSPs, DSPs and operational staff not to allow any motorcycle without helmet on the road. Mirza Shakil Ahmad asked all the officers to brief and create awareness among the people about the usefulness of safety helmet.

DIG Mirza Shakil Ahmad has instructed the patrol officers to carry on briefing and enforcement of motorcyclists as a permanent feature of their duty as they are the most careless among all types of road users and most vulnerable to any serious accident. He further directed the affixing of reflecting stickers on all slow moving vehicles playing on national highways to avoid any untoward accident or incident on national highways in dense foggy weather.
