PPP Lahore president joins PML-N

Hamza Shahbaz (7)Lahore: President Pakistan Peoples Party District Lahore & ticket-holder of PP-142 Arif Naseem Kashmiri along with dozens of companions have joined Pakistan Muslim League-N. Arif Naseem Kashmiri met central leader of PML-N Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA, Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Salman Rafique at PML-N Central Secretariat, Model Town, today. He expressed complete confidence in the leadership of PML-N and announced to join the party.

On this occasion, Additional Secretary General PML-Q Lahore, Syed Faisal Ghaznavi also announced to join PML-N. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif while welcoming joining of Arif Naseem Kashmiri to PML-N said that PML-N will further strengthen in Lahore City. He said that Arif Naseem Kashmiri is an ideological worker. He said that those workers having the spirit of service to the masses will be given chance in next local bodies elections. He said that now time has come to focus on public problems instead of doing politics. Hamza Shahbaz said that PML-N leadership will put Pakistan on the road to progress and prosperity.

Replying to a question of media, Hamza Shahbaz said that Basant festival is being considered to be made part of sports festival. He said that removing of reservations of citizens regarding Basant is essential and permission of celebrating Basant at limited level at Changa Manga, Jallo Park can be given on experimental basis.

Talking to the media, Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that although Imran Khan has succeeded to form government in KPK yet politically he is still immature. He said that Imran Khan’s sit-ins and no-confidence on Election Tribunal reflect his double game and nothing except hypocrisy. He said that Imran Khan is making hue and cry about rigging before local bodies elections. Khawaja Saad Rafique said that Imran Khan should discuss issues in parliament instead of sit-ins
