Pakistan lost a brilliant eye surgeon:Dr Masud Akhtar Sheikh

Lahore: Murder of Prof Dr Ali Haider is a national loss, country have lost a fine eye surgeon and the brilliant teacher, these view were express by the office bearers of General Cadre doctors Association dr Masood Akhtar sheikh, dr Haq Nawaz Bharwana, dr Asad Abbas shah, Dr Asim farooqui, dr rana Rafique, Dr Muhammad Arif, dr Arif Iftikhar, Dr Amir Nazeer, Dr Saif ur Rehman, Dr Ejaz Pirzada, Dr Aslam Hameed, Dr Khawja Mahboob, Dr Shahid Choohan, Dr Baber Sabzwari, Dr Alia, Dr Shazia, Dr Mohy uddin, while addressing the condolence meeting held on the issue. Dr Masood sheikh while addressing the condolence meeting said that he was a wonderful person and his service for the medical profession will be remembered for long time. He added that he has always been involved in patients care and extended his full cooperation for poor and needy. GCDA demanded that a comprehensive national policy must be devised to stop such events in future. And added that government must acknowledge his efforts and sitar-e- Imtiaz may be awarded to him.
