Shahbaz Sharif should not cheat people by false surveys:Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that Shahbaz Sharif get survey done on comparison of works undertaken in the Punjab during five years of his and my tenures, he of the province on the basis of fake and false survey, Jangla Bus is the biggest scandal of Asia not just of Pakistan only as it lacked transparency. Addressing a very big historical public meeting Talagang today, Ch Parvez Elahi said that he gave development projects of Rs 22 billion to Chakwal and Talagang but the so-called “Khadam-e-A’ala” even took away machinery of our established Talagang Hospital.

Audience were in such big numbers that venue of the public meeting fell short and tents had to be removed to accommodate the onrushing people. Public meeting was also addressed by Hafiz Ammar Yasir, Sardar Amjad Ilyas, Malik Asad Ali Khan, Syed Taqleed Shah, Peoples Party leader Raja Sheh Jehan, PPP MPA Fauzia Behram, Malik Qadeer Altaf and Peer Syed Nisar Qasim whereas those seated on the occasion included Muhammad Basharat Raja, Raasikh Elahi, Sardar Khurrum Nawab, Malik Muzaffar Khan, Malik Allah Yar Khan Dandah, Dr Khalid Ranjha and Shaikh Saeed Ahmad among others. People kept chanting slogans of “Ghazioon aur Shaheedoon Key Mohsin, Ch. Parvez Elahi” enthusiastically quite frequently.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that in Jangla Bus Service, biggest corruption in the history of Asia has been committed, Transparency International should take its notice, our prosperous Punjab has been turned into “kangla” by inefficient Chief Minister but people would expel him from Punjab in the next elections, their MNAs and MPAs are deaf and dumb who remained silent on machinery worth crores of rupees being removed from Talagang Hospital and left the people helpless adding that case for deaths due to no machinery in the hospital should be filed against the Chief Minister and N-League’s local MNAs and MPAs.

Continuing, Ch Parvez Elahi said that Chakwal and Talagang is the land of brave people, Ghazis and Shaheeds, “love and affection which the people of this area gave to me, I am grateful to them from the core of my heart,I regard Talagang and Chakwal as my home”. He said that he is visiting the area after becoming the Chief Minister and decided to contest the election from the area on seeing the love, affection and enthusiasm of the people and added that people come, contest elections and go away but he would keep coming there irrespective of victory or defeat. He said that on noticing maximum backwardness in the area than anywhere else in Pakistan, he has given it preference.

The Deputy Prime Minister pointedly stated that we had got record development works done in the whole of Punjab including South Punjab and completed development projects in Lahore and all other districts without any discrimination, we did not utilize funds of one area on another or in Lahore but “Khadam-e-A’ala” has dumped funds of other districts also in Jangla Bus Service. He said that because of flop schemes like Jangla Bus Service, Lap Top Scheme and Ashiana Scheme, the exchequer of Punjab is empty and there is no money even to pay salaries to the govt employees, N-League has not held local bodies elections in five years and instead abolished our local bodies system of public service.

Ch Parvez Elahi challenged Shahbaz Sharif to get survey on the comparison of works undertaken during his three tenures and our five years and then he would know as to what the people say in their hearts and tongues. He maintained that focus of our works was common man and because of this we had introduced 1122 Emergency Service which regretfully has not been expanded by the present govt, for the first time in the history we gave free textbooks up to Matric, established centres for special children and got concrete water courses constructed for farmers, provided tractors and laser levelers, exempted land up to twelve and half acres from tax, got 37 thousand kilometers of roads all over the province, we did all works with good intentions but N-League parliamentarians even after winning could not do anything for the people of this area.

Ch Parvez Elahi asked the people to join hands and take steps with him for security of Pakistan, betterment and prosperity of Punjab so that we together also work in future for the development and prosperity of this area. He said that lion has no brain and that is why N-League leaders are coming up with flop plans, cycle takes its rider to destination without petrol and diesel and because of this we are completing our projects. He pledged that if blessed with opportunity by Almighty Allah, we will remove deprivations of the people, it is our duty to make our home and maintain it well, our intention is good and we will serve our elders, brothers sisters and if we all move together then nobody can defeat us.

PML leader Hafiz Ammar Yassir speaking on the occasion said that benefactor of Ghazis and Shaheeds has come to this area for seventh time,.he constructed dams and educational institutions, provided electricity and gas to every home, to repay him for all this people should ensure his victory in the next elections with thumping majority.He said Shahbaz Sharif is “Zaalim-e-A’ala” who closed Talagang Hospital and got 27 kilometers long road constructed in Lahore and deprived the poor people of this area of even health facilities. He said credit for development works till today in the area goes also to Ch Raasikh Elahi son of Ch Parvez Elahi because of whose untiring efforts, record development works were done. He demand of the Army Chief to get a military hospital constructed on this land of the Ghazis and Shaheeds so that local people can avail medical facilities.
