President Zardari accepts Sardar Latif Khosa resignation

Karachi:Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has presented his resignation to the President Asif Ali Zardari here in a meeting at Bilawal House.President Zardari has accepted the resignation and appreciated the service of the Sardar Latif Khan Khosa aw the Governor Punjab.
Governor Punjab today reached at Karachi and met the president.According to the spokesman the Governor presented his resignation and that was accepted by the President.

There were rumours that President Zardari had selected the PML-F leader Makhdoom Ahmad Mehmood for the governorship in Punjab in order to strong his party in south Punjab and specially to counter Sindhi Nationalists as Makhdoom Ahmad was a close associate of Pir Sahib Paggara who was leading the Nationalists in Sindh.And today all the romours in this regards proved true when Khosa gave resignation aand after few while Makhdoom ‘s name was announced for the Governor Punjab. It is said that Makhdoom Ahmad will take oath as a Governor Punjab tomorrow in Governor House Lahore.
