Lahore: Governor Punjab Sardar Latif Khan Khosa has said that he was a loyal worker to the PPP and would remain committed to the party till his last breath. No matter he remains governor or not, he will serve the party. I have been working with sincerity and loyalty for two years, he was talking to media here at governor house at a special ceremony arranged for X-miss day.
The governor said the man who left the party could not live in the politics, our leader Shaheed Zulifqar Ali Bhutto gave first complete constitution to the country, our leaders sacrificed their lives for the sake of poor peoples and the Pakistan, People’s party is the largest party of the country believes in democracy ,he maintained.
He said minorities had contributed a lot in the progress of the country. Quaid-e-Azam had made it clear time and again those minorities would have equal rights in Pakistan and they would be free to live according to their religion. Now Minorities are living in the country with an exemplary religious freedom and peace. At the occasion the governor cut the X-Miss cake and presented his heartily congratulation to the Christian on the Chrismiss.
There is a high chance that Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa will be replaced by PML-F Punjab former president Makhdoom Ahmad Mehmood who has recently joined the Pakistan Peoples Party.Though he is a close relative of Pir Sahib Pagra, the party president who has taken hard line against PPP in Sindh. Makhdoom Ahmad Mehmood’s quitting PML-F and joining PPP is considered President Zardari’s a big shot in the game of politics.
