Lahore: Sharif Medical City Hospital held free medical camp for children today under supervision of Head of Pediatrician & Neonatology Prof. Dr. Abdul Waheed Qureshi for checkup of children (right from new born till adolescent). The purpose was to make parents aware of the health of their children. The camp continued providing services from 9:00 am till 2:00pm without any interval. As many as 275 kids in different age groups attended the camp and they were registered without any fee and provided baby cereals, ORS, juices free of cost. Similarly, there was no consultation fee and ECG, CBC, tests were done without any charge.
The noble task was performed by the Trust to benefit maximum children without any discrimination of race, age, sex, religion and social or political status.
Another special event was also arranged today in Gynae Department when a woman delivered triplet (baby boys) under care of Head of Gynae Department Prof. Dr. Maimoona Hafeez. Mother and the new born babies are in good health and doctors are taking intensive care especially of the babies.
