Hazara province will be created :Ch Shujaat Hussain

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain has said that Hazara province will also be established alongside new provinces in the Punjab and that Hazara should also be given representation in the commission for new provinces.

This he said while talking to a high-level delegation of “Suba Hazara Tehrik” (Hazara Province Movement) which called on him under the leadership of the Tehrik Chairman Sardar Muhammad Yousaf at his residence here today.

Sardar Muhammad Yousaf expressed concern over no representation in the commission for new provinces to Hazara province and said that people of Hazara had started the movement with their blood but injustice has been done with them. He said on the occasion of joining of the govt with Pakistan Muslim League it was promised that Hazara will be made a province but so far there has been no headway in this regard.

Ch Shujat Hussain assured full support to the leaders of the Hazara Province Movement and said that we support Hazara province right from the first day. He said he would meet President Asif Ali Zardari and talk to him regarding headway for the creation of Hazara province. He said that when new provinces are made in the Punjab then Hazara province will also be created. He said that the Peoples Party government had made a promise with us that Hazara will be made a province and we would ensure that the govt fulfills its promise. He said that he would also arrange meeting of the notables from Hazara with the President.

Pakistan Muslim League Khyber Pakhtoonkhwah President Syed Qasim Shah, Hazara Province Movement leaders Ejaz Ali Khan Durrani, Tariq Khan Swati, Ali Khan Jadoon, Prince Fazal Haq, Professor Sajjad Qamar, Syed Mazhar Qasim and Haroon Noon as well as former Senator Syed Dilawar Abbas were among those present on the occasion.
