PM Advisor Paul Bhatti strongly condemns the blasphemous film

Lahore: Minister in-charge National Harmony and advisor to Prime Minister Dr. said that such kind of acts are aimed at to disrupt the world peace.

Addressing a seminar ‘Respect of religions’ organized by council for interfaith dialogue and united religious initiative at a local hotel Wednesday, he said that freedom of expression should not be at the cost of disrespecting the religious attachments and values of a community.

Dr. Paul appealed to the international community particularly the United Nations to frame a globally accepted law to check the production of such hateful material in future.He said that followers of all faiths all over the world are protesting sternly against the anti-Islamic film.

A resolution against the blasphemous movie will be presented before the United Nations’ session, vowed Dr. Paul Bhatti in the seminar. “We are with our Muslim brethren in this hour of sorrow,” he said.

Speakers on the occasion, said that protests must be registered against the movie but this should be peaceful and without damaging public property.
