Ch ask PM for strong action against blasphemous film

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi called on Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf here today and exchanged views with him regarding the blasphemous film and heavy rains and relief measures in flood affected areas throughout the country.

Ch Parvez Elahi apprised the Prime Minister in detail about devastation caused by floods in Naseerabad, Dera Murad Jamali and Jaffarabad areas of Balochistan and stressed for immediate and effective relief and rehabilitation measures in these flood hit areas.

The Prime Minister assured him that besides immediate relief measures in these areas, special grant for assistance would also be given.
During the meeting, views were exchanged in detail about flood affected areas of districts Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh in Punjab as well as of Sindh and Balochistan provinces.
Ch Parvez Elahi also stressed for taking of strong stand and effective action by Pakistan Government against the blasphemous film and called for immediate closure of YouTube. He said Pakistan being an Islamic country should make efforts for working out line of action on international level for preventing such activities in future.
The meeting between the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister lasted for about 45 minutes.
