Bench constitutes for President dual office case

Lahore: Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Mr. Justice Umar Ata Bandial has constituted a five-member larger bench to hear the contempt proceedings against President of Pakistan for holding dual office.

Fresh notices have been issued for 05.09.2012. The bench is headed by the Chief Justice and its members include Justice Nasir Saeed Shiekh, Justice Shiekh Najam ul Hasan, Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan and Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah.

Earlier the bench consisting of Chief Justice, Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan and Syed Mansoor Ali Shah was seized of the matter.
