LHC will hold a symposium to identify the problems of litigants

Lahore High Court is holding a symposium on 1st September to identify the problems of litigants, their causes and solution in matters arising under section 22-A,22-B,497 and 498 Cr.P C as the courts are heavily burdened with these matters. Main purpose of this event is to pinpoint difficulties arising from litigation instituted under the said provisions of law, their causes and the extent to which administrative solutions can be adopted to reduce the backlog of cases. Function will be chaired by Chief Jutice Lhoare High Court, Mr. Justice Umar Ata Bandial while Justice Saghir Ahmad Qadri, Justice Nasir Saeed Shiekh, Justice Shiekh Najm ul Hasan., Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Justice Rauf Ahmad Sheikh, Justice Shahid Hameed Dar, Justice Muhammad Anwar ul Haq, Justice Mazhar Iqbal Sidhu, Justice syed Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, Justice Abdul Sattar Asghar and Justice Mahmood Maqbool Bajwa will also grace the occasion. Vice Chairman and Chairman Executive Committee of the Punjab Bar Council, Presidents and General Secretaries of Bar Associations of Lahore High Court Lahore, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur and Multan will shared their experience and knowledge on the said issues. Advocate General, Inspector General Police and Prosecutor General as well as secretary Prosecution Punjab will also assist. District and Session Judges as well as Presidents of District Bar Associations of Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Multan, DG Dhan and Bahawalpur will also participate in the seminar.
