Lahore: At least twenty people were injured in twin blasts at Fruit Market in the area of Ravi Road. All the injured were shifted to Mayo Hospital, where they were being treated. Emergency has been declared in the hospital, on the other hand security beefed up in the city
According to Police, both of the blasts exploded at Fruit Market where twenty ill-fated were severely hurt, out of them four people condition was stated critical. One bomb had been installed at a cart at the main gate of Fruit Market while the second one exploded in the parking.
Having information of blasts, heavy contingents of police and rescue teams reached the site of occurrence and shifted the injured to the Mayo Hospital where situation of four is reportedly sensitive.
According to police sources, they had arrested three terrorists (Dilber Khan, Ahad Gul, and Waheed) few days back who had disclosed that they were playing to do terrorist activity in the city .An investigation is underway, The Inspector general of Police Punjab has said that the culprits would soon be arrested. While talking to media at the spot, Haji Habib ur Rehman said that Police is following the terrorist and they would not be able to destroy peace anymore.
