Imran wasted charity money in gambling:Khawaja Asif

Islamabad: PML-N leader Khawaja Asif has alleged that Imran wasted money on gambling, collected in the name treatment of poor patients in Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital.

While talking in a press conference, Khawaja Asif blamed that the donations worth Rs 4 billion given for Shoukat Khanum Hospital were transferred abroad. According to him, Imran Khan invested this money in his secret business.

Khawaja claimed that he had the documents to establish the fact. In this regard, he said that money collected from Zakat and Fitrana was invested in separate businesses.

He said PTI chief had invested this money in unnamed offshore companies and the Imran’s front man Imtiaz Haideri transferred the amount.

Talking to media persons, Khawaja Asif further said that the Shaukat Khanum Hospital is a welfare institute and his purpose is not to harm the institution.

However, he said that it was imperative to expose chairman PTI Imran Khan’s corrupt practices in the guise of so-called charity missions. He said, “We are saying this with complete evidence with us.”

Khawaja said even Double Shah’s business was more transparent and candid than Imran Khan’s secret deals.
