Motorway Police arrested 6 culprits involved in snatching of vehicles

Lahore:National Highways & Motorway Police N-5 Central have arrested 06 culprits involved in snatching of vehicles, carrying illegal weapons,stolen government property etc. besides helping 07childrento reunite with their parents, returning lost luggage of two passengers and putting off fire of a vehicleduring last few days.

According to details the officers of NH&MP N-5 Central arrested Faisal r/o Okara, Haider, Imran, Hashim, Asad r/o Khanewal and Naveed r/o Rahim Yar Khan. Road signboards, stolen car LE-9981, stolen Corolla car LKA-1463, a truck carrying stolen items worth 3670000 and illegal weapons were recovered from their possession. On the directions of Zonal Commander N-5 Central NisarAhmad Saroya, the arrested criminals and recovered items were handed over to the local police for further legal action. Similarly, lost bag of a passenger containing 05 tola gold and 50,000 and a purse of lady passenger left in a bus containing 5720 rupees, NIC and other documents were returned to their respected owners. NH&MP N-5 Central officers also put out the fire of a Car FDS-94 and saved precious lives and property.

Separately, Motorway Police N-5 Central also helped 07years Amir s/o Yasin, 10 year old Mohsin s/o Rehmat, 11 years Rashid s/o Yousaf, 8 years Moazam s/o Khalid, 09 years Nauman s/o Mustafa and 25 year Farkhanda who left home over some domestic row, to reunite with their respective families who appreciated the efforts of Motorway Police.

IG NH&MP Zafar Abbas Luk appreciated the efforts of the officers and granted them Commendation Certificates and cash rewards for the excellent performance of duties.
