Pakistani Students visits Oxford University

Lahore:The 40-member delegation of position-holder Pakistani students, who are currently on a study tour of Europe on the direction of Punjab Chief Minister, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif today visited the renowned educational institution of Britain, Oxford University. Senior teachers, well-known researcher Robert Frost and Dr. Sohail Ch. took the position-holder Pakistani students to various departments of the university and attached colleges and apprised them of the latest knowledge being taught there. In the next phase, the top position-holders from Pakistan, visited world-renowned academic institution in the field of social sciences, the London School of Economics, where the visiting students were given lectures on various subjects and courses being taught in different departments of the college. The students also saw the biggest social sciences library of the world, located in the London School of Economics. Later, the students visited the office of Pakistan High Commission in Britain, where they held a detailed meeting with the High Commissioner Wajid Shamas-ul-Hassan and other officers of the commission. The students were informed about the aims and objectives of Pakistan High Commission in Britain, and were given special mementos for their visit.
