I do not want Omar Virk:DIG Ali Amir Malik

Lahore:Investigation police Chief has showed strong reservation over the posting of SP Omar Virk as SP CIA Lahor. Reliable sources has confided to this correspondent that Deputy Inspector General Investigation Wing Ali Amir Malik and SSP Abdul Razzaq Cheema have expressed their reservations on reappointment of Omar Virk as CIA Chief, and have asked the Punjab Inspector General Police for their transfer as don’t want to accept Omar Virk services.
The authorities have shown green signal to former SSP Chaudhary Shafiq Ahmed Gujjar and former SP Coordination Suhail Akhtar Sukhera to get ready for new charge as DIG and SSP Investigations respectively in case Ali Amir Malik and Abdul Razzaq Cheema relieve the charge.
The sources say recently removed SSP Operations Sajjad Manj may be appointed as SSP Admin and SP Cantonment (Multan) Mansoor ul Haq Rana may also be given the charge of any leading police division of the City with the influx of new setup.
The new setup may comprising aggressive police officers like Ch Shafiq and Suhail Shukhera but cool-minded Aslam Tareen will have no choice but to relinquish the charge as CCPO and enjoy any top post again at the Central Police Office. They further disclosed that Tareen had visited the residences of both the annoyed cops for reconciliation and requested them to continue discharging their official duties but to no avail.
It is said that DIG Malik had written several letters to former IG Punjab Javed Iqbal, currently Federal Secretary Narcotics, and exposed the modus operandi of Omar Virk. According to him, the DIG had mentioned in those letters that Omar Virk and his teams exploited the media persons and made show-off their performance otherwise he did not know even the basics of interrogation.
