We are striving for close cooperation with lawyers:Aslam Tareen

Lahore:Capital City Police Officer Aslam Tareen has said that we will continue to strive for the close cooperation with lawyers community for supremacy of law and its compressive implementation.

CCPO said that Lahore Police would extend all out cooperation to the lawyers community for speedy process of disposal of cases in the courts. He further said that close liaison between lawyer community and Lahore Police is essential to meet all legal requirements of cases in a speedy manner. Aslam Tareen directed that the process of submitting challans of heinous crimes to relevant courts should be intensified, along with ensuring merit-based investigation of all cases.

CCPO was talking to a 15-member delegation of lawyers, which called on him at Police Lines Qilla Gujjar Singh, under the leadership of the President Lahore Bar Association, Chaudhary Zulfiqar Ali here today. CCPO said that Lahore Police is dedicated to provide all out assistance to legal community to ensure predominance of law. He also apprised the lawyers about various steps being taken by Lahore Police for betterment of its efficiency and speedy action taken against criminals involved in heinous crime.
