Nawaz Sharif brought to court first time after arrest

Lahore : Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been brought to court first time after arrest amid tightened security.

Media entery in the court was banned upon which journalists who were there to cover the case held a protest and shouted slogans. The security personals did aerial firing to fear them.

Justice Athar Minnullah and justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb are hearing the Al-Azizia and Flagship reference and Nawaz Sharif appeal to suspend sentence in Avenfield case.

Nawaz Sharif was taken back to Adyala jail after short hearing of the case.

PML-N Senator Pervaiz Rashid and Dr Asif Kirmani were also not allowed to enter in the court and join hearing of the case.

When Nawaz Sharif was appearing in the court , His brother Shahbaz Sharif was taking oath as MNA along with others . PML-N could not organize a show to express solidarity with the confined Quaid ” Nawaz Sharif “.
