Motorway Police return lost cash to the owner

Lahore : Motorway Police Central Zone set another example of honesty, professionalism and public service by returning lost cash of more than fifty thousand to the owner here in Lahore. According to details, during routine patrolling in the area of Shahpur Kaanjran Cattle Market, Chief Patrol Officer Khurram Abbas Shah and Operational Officer SPO Rana Naeem found cash amount of fifty five thousand thirty Rs. (55030) along with ID Card wrapped in a plastic bag. The ID card belonged to one Babu s/o Muhammad Boota R/O Kasur. The officers tried to search the owner in cattle market but could not find him. Later, they managed to trace the cell number of the owner via Sim Verification System through ID Card. The owner was called in the office of Motorway Police and his lost money along with ID card was handed over to him. The owner of lost money told that he came to Shahpur Kaanjran Cattle Market to sell animals and while he put money into his pocket, it fell down. He went to home without knowing the fact that he has lost his money, he further informed. The owner was very happy to find his lost money in this way and prayed for progress and prosperity of Motorway Police.

DIG Central Zone Ahmad Arslan Malik and SSP Central-I Masroor Aalam Kolachi appreciated the spirit and effort of officers and directed others to work with similar professional honesty in to glorify the name of department.
