Dow University to observe Academia Industry Linkage Week

Lahore : Dow University of Health Sciences, in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce (FPCCI), is organizing 1^st DUHS Academia Industry Linkage Week.

The inauguration ceremony for the event will be held today (7^th May, 2018) at Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan Hall, Dow University of Health Sciences Ojha Campus. Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan would be the Chief Guest of the event.

The focal person and the Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. Zarnaz Wahid said that the objective to organize this Academia Industry Linkage Week is to provide a platform for researchers where they could share their innovative ideas and present their prototypes and research work which can develop into strong commercial and entrepreneurial ventures.

This week is to establish strong and healthy linkage providing opportunity to the industrial personnel and university researchers to interact with each other and identify future prospects.

It will also provide insights from the industry perspective to the researchers among the faculty and students so that a new and focused industry related research work could be initiated.
