City Traffic Police launches Accident Victim Support Program

Lahore : Chief Traffic Officer Lahore Rai Ejaz said that to improve Police image and to bring close Police and Public and to improve friendly relation between them practical measures has been taken according to “ Police Image Improvement Program”.

According to Image Improvement Program, Road Safety Offices are deployed in each Sector for the “Accident Victim Support Program”, who will provide first aid to the victims of accidents and  will provide blood if required and will also guide them.

Moreover, the are also condole victims of accidents at their home and Hospital and giving them flower and brief them about the precautionary measures in order to avoid such incidents in future. In case of fatal accidents, Sector Incharge and DSP will attend the funeral and condole their family members.

CTO Lahore Rai Ejaz said that participation of public is assured to stop accidents and to provide safe passage to general public. Practical steps has been taken to improve the image of Police.

In this regard a special training has been given to the Road Safety officers by Turkish Officers, who are presently helping people on roads.

Rai Ejaz smooth flow of traffic is the first priority of City Traffic Police Lahore.
