Police and public should be on same page to defeat terrorism : CCPO Lahore

Lahore : Capital City Police Officer Lahore Capt ® Muhammad Ameen Wains has said that police and public should be on same page to defeat terrorism in the country. We have made successful the events of World II, NA-120 elections, Eid-ul-Fitre and Muharram-ul-Harram by the blessing of Allah. Public and security agencies have played vital role for holding peaceful events. When we are conscious in our societies then no any terrorist can attack our kids.

These were expressed by him while chairing very important session of Intelligence system at Alhamra Hall.

DIG Investigation Chaudhry Sultan, SSP Administration Rana Ayaz Saleem and all branche’s heads were there.

CCPO Lahore further said that this is our basic responsibility to eliminate crime from society on the basis of secret information. That’s why this is responsibility to all police cops to give information of terrorist, facilitator, land mafia, illegal arms, narcotics, proclaimed offenders, suspects, road block, harassment and gambling on 0303-7712111. Intelligence wing will start to investigate it by keeping the sender name in secret. All cooperation will be extended for cops to make it successful story.

SSP Admin Rana Ayaz Saleem has said that intelligence system already exists in police from day 1. Basically, cops being empowered through this system. Basic purpose of calling all incharges is to communicate the significance of the system. 35 thousands cops are performing in Lahore Police and if we receive 35000 intelligence information in a month then sustained peace can be ensured in the city. Lahore Police has done so mush digitalization in last three years to change “Thana Culture”. Every cop should play important role to eliminate terrorism from the society.
