Dr Faisal Masood to investigate spread of chickenpox in Faisalabad

Lahore : Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has constituted a technical committee to investigate the spread of chickenpox in Faisalabad and few other districts in Punjab.

The committee shall examine the causes of emergence of chickenpox. Former VC King Edward Medical University Prof. Faisal Masood is the convener of the committee while Special Secretary Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department Dr. Sajid Mahmood Chohan will be Member/Secretary of the Committee.

Similarly, Special Secretary Primary & Secondary Dr. Faisal Zahoor and CEO Contech Dr. Naeem ud Din Mian also the members of the Committee. The Committee shall inquire into the reasons of spread of chickenpox in the Faisalabad and few other districts and to identify the implementation gaps and fix responsibility for negligence.

The Committee furnish its recommendations to overcome the re-emergence of chicken pox in the province. The committee shall submit its report to the Chief Minister within 10 days.
