Lahore General Hospital arranged ‘3 day Hands on Colonoscopy’ training workshop

Lahore : Department of gastroenterology, Lahore General Hospital and Post Graduate Medical Institute, in collaboration with North East School of Endoscopy UK, Pakistan Society of Gastroenterology and GL Endoscopy and Digestive Disease Foundation, arranged ‘3 day Hands on Colonoscopy’ training workshop in the department.

The workshop, presided over by Principal PGMI and LGH Prof. Ghias un Nabi Tayyab, was attended by a number of national and foreign doctors having command on the subject who provided ample opportunities of training to the young participants. The Hands on Practice mod of the workshop regarding learning of new techniques of medical treatment was the salient feature of the event which was effectively availed by the participants.

Prof. Ghiyas un Nabi while delivering special lecture said that such workshops always prove to be very useful towards the successful career of the young doctors. Such activities set right approach of doctors through enhanced knowledge about medical advancements and new therapies.

Dr. Raheel Qureshi, Dr. Mumtaz Hayat, Dr. Farooq Khan and Dr. Kamran Shafiq who came from U.K also delivered lectures to the participants. Dr. Israr ul Haq Toor, Dr. Ghiyas ul Hassan, Dr. Asif Gul and Dr. Bilal Nasir represented the local medical experts of the subject.
