Former Pakistan hockey captain Rana Ghazanfar becomes Level IV FIH coach

Former Pakistan hockey captain Rana Ghazanfar is now Level IV FIH coachLahore : Pakistan’s former captain Rana Ghazanfar has recently qualified as the FIH Level IV coach. The course was run on the sidelines of the Champions Trophy in London. He is the only Asian in his course to get the honour.
Ghazanfar, who played for Pakistan from 2000 to 2008, including two Olympics and two World Cups, is living in England for quite some time.
He has remained associated with the national league club Deeside Ramblers as a player/coach for many years.
He is presently assisting Tahir Zaman, the Pakistan junior team’s coach, as the fitness trainer and nutritionist.  Ghazanfar is also a qualified fitness coach and has done modules in nutrition.
Tahir Zaman acknowledged his contribution in Pakistan team getting second position at the Junior Asia Cup in Malaysia, a few months back.
