Lahore :Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif paid a surprise visit to DHQ Hospital Sheikhupura without protocol and reviewed medical facilities being provided to the patients. He went to every patient and inquired about medical facilities.
The Chief Minister also met a child Wasim suffering from bone disease under treatment at the hospital. Wasim narrated his story to the Chief Minister that neither he has father nor mother and he is alone in this world, he is feeling great pain due to his disease, you are Khadim-e-Punjab, help him.
The Chief Minister moved to tears while listening to Wasim and said that all treatment facilities will be provided free of cost to Wasim. He said that Punjab government will look after and care for him.
The Chief Minister also asked from the doctors present there with regard to treatment of Wasim and issued necessary directions in this regard.
Shahbaz Sharif described Consultant Physician Dr. Adnan Qaiser as Masiha in the real sense who serving the ailing humanity in the hospital. He said that if all the doctors will perform their duties with the same spirit then the condition of our hospitals will be changed. He directed to shift the patients suffering from complicated diseases to the hospitals of Lahore and announced financial assistance for some poor patients.
