If Judicial Commissions fails, masses accountability would be inevitable:Sirajul Haq

Siraj ul HaqLahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that if the judicial commission was unable to bring the corrupt to accountability, there would be accountability  by the masses.

Talking to a delegation of the JI Punjab headed by Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar, which called on him at Mansoora, he said the corrupt elite should fear the day when the poor living in huts would lay a siege around the palaces of the rich.  He said that a few families had taken the country as hostage like the East India Company.

The JI chief said that if corruption was only reduced by forty per cent, all the loans of the country could be paid off while 80 per cent fall in corruption would enable the country to double its development budget.

He said that the national and international media had unveiled several faces.  He said it was common knowledge that all government office and institution were full of loot and plunder.  He said the off shore companies were only a part of the corrupt system and added that more facts would be revealed soon. He said that the judicial Commission should have vast powers to take action against the corrupt.

He said that those who flew to New York or London for medical treatment had no right to rule this country. He said the children of the rulers were studying in foreign countries and also doing business abroad. These people visited Pakistan only to rule, he remarked.

He said that the speeches of the Prime Minister and the ministers were only adding to the confusion. He said the Panama leaks issue could not be resolved by statements and  rebuttals from the both sides.
