Lahore: The Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Provincial Youth Games 2016 trials, being organized under the banner of Sports Board Punjab , gathered momentum on Tuesday.
Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Provincial Youth Games 2016 will be staged in Islamabad Sports Complex from April 4 to 7, 2016.
Sports Board Punjab has accelerated the preparations of Games. The trials of seven games – hockey, badminton, karate, football, tennis, volleyball and athletics – got underway at various venues of the province.
The players, who will show top performance during the trials, will be selected in the Punjab teams for the mega event.
As many as 44 players reported in men/women hockey trials while 16 (men/women) players appeared in badminton, 30 (men/women) in karate, 45 (men/women) in athletics, 14 in tennis, 44 in football and 28 players featured in volleyball trial activities.
