The government officers are precious asset:Secretary Services Farhan Aziz

Lahore: Secretary Services Farhan Aziz has said that government officers are precious asset and due to their hard work, devotion and capabilities, they will not only earn a good name for Punjab government but Pakistan will also be proud of such dutiful officers.

He expressed these views while addressing PMS 6^th course passing out ceremony at Management & Professional Development Department, Government of the Punjab.

Farhan Aziz said that the establishment of  Management & Professional Development Department is a welcome step for the training of officers in Punjab. He said that earlier the officers had to go Peshawar for training and now training opportunities are available to them in Punjab.

Addressing the function, Secretary MPDD Nadeem Irshad Kiyani told that the department is paying special attention to the education and training of government officers. He said that such courses are being introduced due to which not only performance of the officers will improve but their personality will also be polished. Nadeem Irshad Kiyani told that MPDD has also introduced Chinese language courses keeping in view the demands of present age. He told that teachers from best educational institutions of the country including LUMS are invited to deliver lecture for the training of government officers.

Certificates were distributed among 36 PMS officers during passing out ceremony. Honorary shields were also given on outstanding performance in sports. Besides officers of MPDD, a number of in-service and retired officers attended the function.
