Punjab Chief Minister gives a king like glimpse to the parliamentrians

Member of parliament calls on CM PunjabLahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that resources are a trust of the nation and every penny of public money is being spent only on the projects aimed at welfare and betterment of the masses.

He was talking to Members National assembly belonging to various districts who met him, here today.

The Chief Minister said that the government has laid the foundation of a new culture by completing development projects with transparency, quality and speed.He said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government is implementing the policy of transparency and billions of rupees have been saved through ensuring transparency in public welfare projects. He said that the money saved in this manner is being spent on the projects of progress and prosperity of the citizens. He said that transparency and supremacy of merit have become the hallmark of Punjab government.

He said that had this policy of standard, merit and transparency been followed in the implementation of projects during the last 68 years, the situation of the country would have been different.

Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan has started its journey towards progress and prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and every effort will be made during the next two and a half years for resolving all the issues being faced by the country. He stressed upon elected representatives to spare no effort for resolving the problems of the people.

Those who met the Chief Minister included Members National Assembly Muhammad Moin Wattoo, Rao Muhammad Ajmal Khan and Tariq Iqbal Chaudhry. Member Provincial Assembly Mansha Ullah Butt was also present on the occasion.
