CPEC projects will prove to be game changer for the region: PM Nawaz Sharif

Lahore: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting to review the progress on the development of projects under CPEC at PM House today.

Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal gave detailed briefing to the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister said that CPEC projects will prove to be game changer for the region. He said that all projects shall be completed with in stipulated time.

The Prime Minister said that China is a friend and a strategic partner, and directed Ministry of Interior to beef up the security for the Chinese work force withing in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said that no laxity shall be shown in providing security to the Chinese labour.

The meeting was also attend by senior government officers.
