Ch Pervaiz Elahi condemns maltreatment with doctors at Services Hospital

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has said that N-League maltreatment with doctors has crossed all limits, on seeing their rulers N-League workers also kept beating up doctors as if they were their slaves.

Condemning in the strongest possible words incident of doctors being tortured in the Services Hospital on the night between Friday and Saturday, Ch Parvez Elahi said that N-League consider every public servant as their personal servant and slave and take pr9ide in maltreating him and this attitude of N-League rulers has even been adopted by an ordinary worker.

He said it is not expected from those, who have been pulling the healers of the nation on the roads through police, resorting to baton-charging and violence on them, that they will provide protection to doctors or any other segment of the society from their “gullu butts”.

Fully supporting demands of the doctors, he said that doctors should be provided such atmosphere and facilities in the hospitals, like our govt, that they treat the patients whole-heartedly and full attention. He said because of this policy, even senior doctors were returning home from abroad during our tenure whereas now every doctor wants to go out of the country.
