IJT thrashes 3 students for doing chit chat with female students

Lahore: Islami Jamiat Tulaba (IJT) activists with the support of some external elements thrashed and kidnapped three students of Institute of Communication Studies evening class (Development journalism) when they were waiting for a university bus along with female class fellows outside the department on Friday evening.

Around 10-15 workers of IJT attacked the students with clubs and hookies and misbehaved with female students.

Later the assailants forcefully took three students to hostel number 15 and held them hostage. Development Journalism Students Usman Maan, Saddam Hussain and Imran Bhatti, who were thrashed and kidnapped, they received serious wounds on arms and heads serious. Some IJT activists got opened the facebook account of Saddam Hussan. They took the pictures and names of his class fellows and now they are harassing other students.

On Information University security officers reached there and recovered kidnapped students. And injured were rushed to Jinnah Hospital for medical aid.

ICS female students who were misbehaved by ICT activists have demanded the Jamat-i-islami leader Sirajul Haq to bridle his party’s student wing which was tarnishing the image of their party, which is fast loosing political standing in the country.

The University guards reached hostel number 15 to recover three kidnapped students, IJT activists fled form the scene. The families of the injured students and university administration has approached police for registration of FIR.
