Lahore: Chairman PCB Shaharyar Muhammad Khan has Tuesday approved the Pakistan Under-19 squad for the tour to Sri Lanka following the recommendation of the four-member junior selection committee headed by Basit Ali, with Ali Zia, Ali Naqvi and Farrukh Zaman as members. Pakistan Team will play 2 three day and 5 one day matches against Sri Lanka U-19. The team will depart on 1st October 2015.
“The Under-19 squad consists of 16 players. It will form the nucleus of our team for the ICC World Cup next year, hence the extra player”, said Chairman PCB.
