US Ambassador Richard Olson holds another meeting with Ch Shujaat Hussain

Lahore: US Ambassador Richard Olson held another meeting with Pakistan Muslim league (PML) President and former PM Ch. Shujaat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch. Parvez Elahi at their residence in Islamabad .

The meeting lasted for about an hour. This was US ambassador’s second meeting with the PML leaders in recent days.

During the meeting views were exchanged about Pak-US relations, Pakistan and Afghanistan as well as situation in the region while Pak-India relations and other matters of mutual interest also came under discussion.

Expressing strong concern about the Indian attitude, Indian firing and shelling on Working Boundary and also on Line of Control killing civilians in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, Ch. Shujat Husain and Ch. Parvez Elahi said that after secret and subversive activities of Indian secret agency “RAW” in Baluchistan, Karachi and other areas of Pakistan India, is now committing open aggression against Pakistan which is terrorism and US should take notice of Indian aggression and terrorism.

They said that peace in the region is essential and for this peace in Afghanistan and peaceful solution of Kashmir are compulsory where as India is not ready for talks with Pakistan for peaceful solution of Kashmir and other disputes and its attitude can become danger not only for regional but also for world peace.
