CPO Faisalabad Afzal Ahmad Kosar assures justice to the bereaved family

Lahore: CPO Faisalabad Afzal Ahmad Kosar has visited  the residence of the youth who was shot by the local police. He assured justice and fair trial to the bereaved family.

Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the heirs of the youth died due to police firing in Faisalabad will be provided justice at all costs.

He said that the case against the SHO involved in firing on the youth has been registered whereas Sub-Inspector Faryad has also been arrested. He said that the Chowkidar giving wrong information about dacoity has been included in the investigation.

Rana Sanaullah said that the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has directed to provide justice to the family of the deceased youth at every cost. He said that CPO Faisalabad has constituted a special team headed by SSP Investigation for investigating the case of death of the youth.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the death of a 15 years old boy due to police firing in Madina Town, Faisalabad and sought a report from IG Police.

The Chief Minister expressed sympathies and condolence and said that police officials involved in firing will not escape punishment and justice will be provided to family of the deceased at any cost. He said that there was no justification for police to fire directly.
