US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson called on Ch Brothers

Lahore: US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson called on Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi at their residence in Islamabad Tuesday.

During the meeting, which lasted for more than one hour, views were exchanged also about Afghanistan and situation in the region besides Pakistan. Pak-US relations and other matters of mutual interest also figured during the meeting.

PML leaders said that peace in Afghanistan is essential for peace in the region. They said due to lingering unresolved Kashmir dispute and Indian secret agency RAW’s interference for terrorism in Balochistan and other parts of Pakistan not only Indo-Pak relations are being effected but also situation in the region is also being effected.
