Chaudhry Sarwar denounced the reckless features of the Federal Budget of 2015/16

PTI CH Sarwar Pic 06 JuneLahore: Provincial Organizer Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar expressed his denunciation of the reckless features adopted in the Federal Budget of 2015/16.

He asserted. “The government budget in no means serves as a poverty relief mechanism and has added further economic disparity in the country. Lack of visible growth in GDP is already prevalent in our country and with added taxes and increase in prices; the economy will further be dragged into the doldrums.”

While talking to PTI Faisalabad Organizer Doctor Asad Moazzam and other in his residence, the Former Governor objected the government’s decision to increase the tax rates on basic commodities. Both dignitaries talked about economic issues facing the economy and expressed their deep concerns regarding the policies adopted by the Punjab Governance.

Mr. Sarwar stated, “The salient features of the budget are in no way compatible to the economic imbalance penetrating the nation. Inflation rates are soaring to an incredible 100% coupled with increase in government employee salaries by 7.5 pc. Furthermore, the increase in taxes imposed on ‘Landa Bazar’ by 5 pc is an economic nightmare for the masses. The adoption of such regressive elements will not hike any growth in the economy. Successive federal budgets have always created a gap in their process and have failed to stabilize the economy.”

The Former Governor said, “Successive indifferent and incompetent administrations have failed to establish themselves as a true democratic government. Initially, professing to lower down prices on basic commodities, the government’s true intention has finally been revealed through the futile policies adopted in the federal budget.  The inefficient mechanism in the tax structure has caused considerable dissatisfaction among the masses.” In a conclusive statement, the Former Governor concluded, “The government should abstain from dragging the poor further below the poverty line. Unless PTI doesn’t come into governance, these issues will keep on haunting the economic state of the nation. As a provincial organizer of PTI, I will ensure to strengthen the party’s structure and help fight this war of oppression against the uncharitable oligarchs.”
