JI would join the JUI(F) Tahafuz e Namoos e Risalat rally in Lahore :Liaqat Baloch

Lahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the religious parties of the country, in spite of their differences on political and electoral fronts, stood united on the Islamic, ideological front. Accordingly, he said the JI would attend the national seminar being organized by the JUI(F) in the Punjab capital tomorrow, January 22.  He was talking to a JUI(F) delegation headed by Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, that called on him at his residence.JI LHR 03jpg

The JI Secretary General said that the secular lobby in the country was trying to underline the national consensus achieved after the Peshawar tragedy with ulterior motive. He said that all the religious parties were fully united against all types of terrorism and for safeguarding the religious identity of the country. He said that the mosques, the madrissahs and the pulpit would be protected at all cost, and added that there was absolutely no room for the American, European civilization and agenda in the country.

Liaqat Baloch said that the petrol crisis had given another shock to the drive against terrorism due to the incompetence and bad governance of the government. He said that at a time when the military officers and jawans were laying down their lives for national security, it was the responsibility of the democratic government to maintain national consensus, protect the masses against economic terrorism and also to safeguard the country’s ideological frontiers. However, he said the Nawaz Sharif government had failed on all these fronts as it stood disintegrated and suffered from internal conspiracies.

He said that the JI chief Sirajul Haq would lead the Shan e Mustafa rally in Islamabad on Friday, January 23. He said the JI would join the JUI(F) Tahafuz e Namoos e Risalat rally in Lahore .
