Govt will ensure sale of chicken meat and eggs at affordable rates: Ch Arshad Jutt

Lahore: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab on Livestock, Ch. Arshad Jutt has said that Punjab government is taking solid steps for resolving the problems of poultry industry. He said that government will ensure sale of chicken meat and eggs at affordable rates with the cooperation of poultry association.

He expressed these views while talking to media, today. Ch. Arshad said that Livestock Department with the cooperation of poultry association is ensuring protective measures for checking diseases in hens so that poultry association could sell chicken meat and eggs at cheaper rates. He directed district livestock officers and veterinary officers to ensure provision of meat and eggs at concessionary rates in all districts of the province. He said that provision of quality and cheap poultry products to the people is top priority of the Punjab government.
