Revolutionary steps are needed for the betterment of education sector:Dr Faiz ul Hassan

Lahore: Vice Chancellor University of Education Dr Faiz ul Hassan has said that revolutionary steps are needed for the betterment of education sector. By enhancing the quality of educational programs according to modern curriculum needs, there are more chances of development and progress. Education and research is only a scale to measure progress and sovereignty of any other country in the world.

He expressed these views by addressing a training workshop on quality assurance conducted by Quality Enhancement Cell, University of Education. More than 50 nominated teachers of all UoE campuses, divisions and other related persons of different departments participated.

Director QEC Dr.M.Mansha briefed about the needs and importance of self-assessment methods, techniques for educational courses being taught by the university. Lecturer Madam Zuneera also addressed the workshop and highlighted newly used quality promotion methods and strategies to participants for enhancing program’s quality.

Director Division of Science & Technology Dr.Rana Abrar Hussain, Director Research Dr.Mubasher Nadeem, Principal Township Campus Prof.Asmat ullah Cheema and Principal Okara Campus Dr.Khalid Saleem were also present there.
