Masses want an early end to the political crisis : Sirajul Haq

Pic Sirajul HaqLahore: Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has said that the masses wanted an early end to the political crisis continuing for the last four months.

Sirajul Haq said that the JI would emerge as the voice of the poor and the downtrodden masses in the country and he would unfold his strategy for a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan at the Mazar-e Quaid, Karachi on December 25.

He said, the prevailing chaos and state of uncertainty in the country should end as early as possible. He said the resumption of talks between the government and the PTI was a positive step and both sides should avail the opportunity and sit at the negotiating table by shedding all reservations and apprehensions.

He warned that several hostile forces were in search of an opportunity to sabotage the talks and prolong the state of instability in the country.He said the more the talks process was transparent and confidant, the more its chances of its success.

The JI chief said that the positive attitude by the government and the PTI had given a new hope to the nation. He was confident that the Govt.-PTI talks would strengthen the democratic process.

He stressed that arrangements should be made for the early return of the IDPs to their homes, as thousands of students had been away from schools for the last eight months.
