Lahore: IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has said modern courses have been introduced for better relations between police and masses ,subjects on sharing intelligence,security,crime control and investigation were added for service oriented policing in order to improve the training standards of Punjab Police.
Addressing the passing out parade ceremony of probationers ASIs at Sihala College on Monday.8 women officers were among 477 officers who passed out from Punjab,Balochistan and Azad Kashmir.Commandant Police College Sihala Muhammad Amir Zulfiqar Khan,Deputy commandant capt(r) Muhammad Shoaib and other were also present on this occasion.
IG Punjab Mushtaq Sukhera said legal experts,Drs and subject specialists were added as a visiting faculty in police training colleges so under training officers could get international standard’s police training.
IGP said that two combat courses were also being introduced in order to hone under training police officers skills,all the data of police stations are being computerized to improve the performance of the police.Mushtaq Sukhera asked the officers to serve the people with dignity,honesty and never use of excessive powers because it generates oppressions and injustice that badly damaged the whole society.He also visited different sections of the Sihala College.
