Ali Shah Gilani calls to Ameer e Jamaat Islami Siraj ul Haq

Lahore: Senior Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Shah Gilani on Monday rang up Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, and deplored that the Pakistan government had not taken any notice of the heavy loss of life caused by rain and floods in the Held Kashmir.

The Veteran Kashmiri leader said that the Indian government had not undertaken any rescue operation after the heavy floods although scores of dead bodies remained stuck up in the flood affected area. He said that the Kashmiri people had informed international Human Rights bodies that New Delhi was creating obstructions in the relief operation by welfare bodies. He said even if Pakistan did not provide them any help, it should play its role in highlighting their miseries at the world level.

Sirajul Haq assured the elderly Kashmiri leader of all out efforts of the JI to help their Kashmiri brethren. He said that although vast areas of Pakistan had also been hit by floods, it was the moral duty of the JI and this nation to help their Kashmiri brethren and also to draw the attention of the international welfare and relief bodies to the issue.
